About this event

Maybe you already sell your own produce, but are looking to be more profitable? High tunnel production extends the growing season and allows you to both grow plants that would otherwise not thrive in this environment and sell local produce outside of normal seasons.

Join us at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Currituck County Center located at 120 Community Way in Barco on June 1st, 2022 from 9:00 - Noon for our Introduction to High Tunnel Farming class. We’ll cover the basics of high tunnel production, from basic construction and land preparation to pest control, irrigation, and ventilation. Space is limited, so reserve your seat today by registering through Eventbrite.
